Church Brass has always been a special mission of Premier Brass. The great Masterworks of the church almost always involve
some sort of brass writing. The Rutter Gloria, the great Cantatas of Bach, and even performances outside the church of the great Requiems of Mozart, Berlioz, Brahms, Duruflé, Verdi, and Faure Requiems as well as the Benjamin Britten "War Requiem", and the Mahler 2nd Symphony, "The Ressurection", all feature the power and beauty of brass. In the next twelve months, Peter Voisin will begin a new composition
that will be a Requiem scored for Brass Quintet, Church Chorus, and organ. Watch for in in 2008.
