"To The Nines" is a trumpet ensemble piece for
nine trumpets in 9/8.
It was inspired by the
Carolina Mountain Guild ITG
Affiliate Chapter and the fact that I have written for
2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 trumpet
(and 16) but not nine! I rewrote it when I attended the Banff ITG Conference and was thinking of Fred
Mills when I upgraded it. Here's to you Fred!
